The Albanian language is unique



Even-though all the languages in Europe originate from either Latin, Slavic or German families, Albanian is unique in its kind and doesn't resemble to anything. It is one of the most ancient languages in Europe and the world and has its own branch on the linguistic tree. Albanians are really proud of what they represent and their language so if you would like to learn some short phrases such as Faleminderit (Thank you), Mirupafshim(Goodbye), Pershendetje (hello), they really appreciate it.

Traveling through Albanian can be challenging

If you plan on renting a car, you will be able to reach different cities in a shorter time and a more comfortable way. However if you are planning on relying in public transport, keep in mind buses don't have online schedules and tickets are not payable online. Therefore you will need of a local to get you through terminals, bus schedules, prices and everything else. Don't worry though, remember when we said Albanias are the friendliest people you will ever find? There will always be someone ready to help, as long as they speak your language.

Albania is one of the cheapest countries in Europe. You can enjoy everything for far less than you would in its neighbor country Greece and still have an amazing experience. #1. Multi-Day UNESCO Tour in Albania
