How to Get to Korça?

If you’ve got your own car, you can reach Korça pretty easily. It’s about a three-hour drive from the capital of Tirana, and the road is pretty clear. There are a few turns here and there, but that shouldn’t be a problem. 


There are many places where you can stop along the way in case you get tired, like small cafes or restaurants.

There are also direct bus lines from Tirana to Korça, as well as from other major cities in Albania. They usually depart every hour or so, and a bus ticket to Korça costs around €7. They usually take a 15-minute stop at a small cafe along the road. 


All buses have air conditioning and comfortable seats, so your trip will go just fine.

If you don’t feel like using public transportation, you can call up a taxi to take you to Korça. There are various taxi companies you can choose from, like MerrTaxi, CityTaxi, etc. 


The cost depends on the company, but it can range from €130 to €150.
